Abstract
The report will be devoted to the description of the comprehensive work and the role of the university for Kamchatsky krai in the sphere of documentation and Kamchatka Indigenous Peoples languages preservation. Thus, to train new specialists in the 2024-2025 academic year, we opened an educational program at the master’s level in ethnolinguistics, implemented in network cooperation with the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow). Thanks to the expeditionary direction of the university’s activities, we conduct sociolinguistic surveys of the population in remote settlements of Kamchatsky krai in order to identify the level of preservation of Minoritized languages, document them. Based on the results of field research and the collection of language materials we develop digital products, i.e. an online dictionary and online lessons of the Alyutor language, applications for mobile phones in the Even and Alyutor languages, etc.
